Job Description

Strategic Account Manager

Summary

Focuses on building long-term relationships, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and driving sustainable growth.

  • Cultivating and maintaining strategic customer relationships
  • Managing sales to key accounts
  • Supporting global sales and purchasing strategies


Responsibilities


  • Building and sustaining strategic relationships with key customers
  • Managing sales for major accounts
  • Supporting global sales and purchasing strategies
  • Understanding client organization, culture, and needs
  • Take ownership of personal training development, including sales, sourcing, and throughput skills
  • Accurately input customer requirements into company’s ERP system
  • Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly gross profit sales targets
  • Provide prompt and dependable solutions to meet customer needs
  • Maintain comprehensive records of sales activities, including contracts, quotations, and customer communications, and document all interactions in company ERP system
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on customer engagements and sales/gross profit performance


Requirements


  • Diploma/Degree in any engineering discipline
  • At least 2 years of sales experience in the electronic components industry
  • Proven skills in sourcing, account management, and CRM
  • Experience with complex ERP systems is an added advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
